For Puma, their relationship with high-fashion brands has featured a number of high-profile names in the past including Sergio Rossi and Alexander McQueen. Aided by their relationship under the Gucci Group, the aforementioned brands are now joined by another lauded brand in Yves Saint Laurent as the duo combine high-fashion and sneakers. The high-top design features a moc-style toebox with a wave-like sole. Two styles are seen here which will be available at YSL boutiques across the world except for the US, where it will only be available via its online shop.

In the last couple of weeks all major fashion shows took place around the globe. Massimo Gammacurta came up with the perfect accessory to attending the shows - fashion brand lollipops. He created them with the Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel and YSL logos in a series of different flavors.

I love when luxury is gets a bit of hood flare. R.I.P.
To mark the 3rd year anniversary of their retail venture in Japan, Yves Saint Laurent create a special commemoration t-shirt showcasing their famous YSL logo. The limited edition piece will see a run of only 70 shirts available in a black/white print. Retail is set at ¥29,400 (Approx. $297 USD) with a release slated for March 6th, 2009.

Art…I can’t get enough of it.
For fifty years Yves Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Berge actively collected art, amassing a collection of some 700 works over the period. Included are paintings by Picasso, Goya and Mondrian. Housed in the pairs Paris’ apartment, the collection has been kept relatively private, the Laurent truly living with his art. Christies will be auctioning the estate this year, and Walllpaper* has published a “preview” of the expected lots. This is far less a preview than a view into Laurent’s living space. And, ultimately, the joy of the images comes in that.
