get a closer look into the upcoming “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 9 retro. Although not exactly the same shade, the kicks still offer up a clean palette as the upper consists of a white leather with university blue and black adding a strong touch of contrast. These are set to drop on May 29th, 2010 and will be available through Jordan Brand accounts, including Primitive.

This time around I decided to list them in the order I’d copp. It’s all about how you rock it.

First up, we’ve got two new colorways for the Nike Air 180, one of which is the dope Infrared pack pair we previewed last week, and the other offers its own take on the ‘Aqua’ palette. There’s an Air Maxim 1+ that represents the Omega Pack, which features a similar colorway to a white/red/navy Air Max 90 that’s also on the way. With the mint green AM95s seeing another retro release, that’s alot of visible Nike Air, but don’t forget about the Air Mariah and Nike Challenger pack that’s set to drop in a couple months as well. And last but not least, the asymmetrically toe-capped Nike All Court in both leather and VNTG-treated canvas pairs. These should all hit select NSW retailers come July.

For all my soldiers.

While most of the nylon Vandals that have come out of recent have been quite exuberant in colorway, this pair takes a more neutral approach. The deep grey upper with hits of off-white and dark green make it a practical everyday look, even better than the black/gold pair that came out about two years ago. It’s interesting that Vintage is tagged onto the name when the feel of it is nothing of the aged, weathered ones we’ve seen and tend to be on the fence about. Nonetheless not a bad pair to consider.

Ah Candice. Candice is a shorty from my youth. She bought me these kicks. Naturally I thought I was the man. Youth.

In the sneaker word association game, Spike Lee’s ‘He Got Game’ will quickly induce responses of ‘Air Jordan XIII‘, as Denzel Washington’s character Jake Shuttlesworth wore the white/black/red pair throughout the movie. Needless to say there was a ton of heat floating around that film, but the other pair that deserves just as much shine was the Nike Air Foamposite Pro in White/Black-True Red worn by Jake’s son Jesus.

Following a series of new colorway releases, Nike’s Air Pippen 1 sees the return of one of its cleanest and original colorways to date. Although the red detailing is missing from the logo hits, the sneakers retain most of their nostalgic elements, including a full-length air unit and translucent zig-zag design. Look for a drop come May 7th, including a release via Wish.
