New Balance will be releasing 4 new limited edition sneakers this season. The pack includes the M996, the CM1600, the MR993 and the M998. All of them stick to a rather monotone and classic light grey look and a mix of suede and mesh. Mita will be releasing all 4 of them in April.

The hustlers choice.

New Balance have just dropped the latest M998 model that is an attractive general release. It is by no means anything loud or over stated but it keeps a simple gray tones accented by red highlights. Upper is a combination of real and fake leather in smooth and suede like finish. Mesh materials are used on the toe box and ankle sections for breathability. The M998 is a blend of low tech sneaker aesthetics with functional ABZORB cushioning system boldly displayed on the exterior of the midsole. Key red accents are used on the midsole, tongue detail and on the heel sections.

A very solid and classic looking new New Balance M998 has been released. It comes in various grey tones with an upper made of suede and mesh. Also the sneaker features some 3M accents and colors details in blue and red. The sneaker is now available from Atmos.

Sonic Boom!

After presenting you earlier the upcoming New Balance 576 English Pub Pack, we give here now a preview of the 574 Sonics Pack. New Balance actually managed to combine mesh and solid material and to fuse it into one upper. The outcome you see in this new NB 574 Sonics Pack, consisting of three colorways of the running shoe, showcased at Bright Tradeshow.

Following collaborative New Balance CM1001 and New Balance 1300 releases, mita sneakers and Oshman’s team up once again for a third NB sneaker. This time they took the classic 1500 running shoe in suede and mesh, and did it up in a dark grey and blue colorway with white and gold accents. Available now at mita.

Designed in collaboration with Boston-based sneaker specialists Concepts and created to honor the New England city’s landmark Freedom Trail, New Balance 875 Freedom Trail Boots ($160; Available in select boutiques November 27) are a brand new style of kicks that are perfect for fall. Featuring brown leather uppers with pigskin leather lining and red accents, the 875s aren’t the most attractive NB’s ever made, but instead offer a winning combination of stability, comfort, and understated cool.

Utilizing the H710 model, the kicks take on an outdoors approach with earth tone colorways paired with a hiking boot aesthetic. Both look to launch on October 10th, 2009.

574 Clips is a collection constructed from leftover materials salvaged from New Balance’s factory in Lawrence, MA. The 574 has been re-engineered, removing unnecessary foams in the tongue and collar to reduce heat and bulk. It also features a PU insert for comfort and a microdenier lining taken from the 993 to create a luxurious feel. Overall the shoe comes in four colorways: grey/blue, grey/green, grey/orange and grey/burgundy. Limited to 120 pairs per color.
