Comme des Garcons Junya Watanabe MAN worked with The North Face on a couple of pieces for Fall/Winter 2009. Complementing their hunting and outdoor inspired offering of the season, they produced in collaboration with The North Face a vest in several colorways, as well as two coats. The North Face logos are embroidered tonal and nice details include cordoroy and leather patches through out the collection. The pieces are now available from Reinforce.

We take a closer look at some new items from the Comme des Garcons SHIRT Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The brand presents some new coats, shirts, as well as some new knitwear. We especially like the toggle coat and the patchwork shirt. The knitwear also looks very interesting. The goods are now available at Tres Bien.

Comme des Garçons shirt. CDG is one of those (read: armani, boss) with multi confusing diffusion labels. “shirt” is supposedly targeted at the younger audience, with lower priced points. The toggle coat is available online at farfetch.com and retails for £235, not bad at all.

Some interesting new shirts are coming from the Comme des Garcons SHIRT Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. Once again the Japanese brand goes a different and this time bold direction, using the same large scale prints and photos that we saw a couple of days ago on their new t-shirts, this time on long-sleeve shirts. Classic patterns are mixed with bold and cut-up color prints. The new shirts are now available at colette.

Takashi Murakami has designed part of the Vogue Nippon x Comme des Garcons pop-up store and one of his characters also made it onto this t-shirt, created to celebrate the opening of the “Magazine Alive” store.
