This hardcover publication has 496 pages and will be released in November 2010. The cover illustration is the iconic photograph of Louis Vuitton trunks, suitcases and an umbrella stacked to resemble the Eiffel Tower in the background, shot by Jacques Henri Lartigue in 1979.

I think the book will, in addition to chronicling the history of Louis Vuitton trunks, make us privy to the 100 illustrious trunks that the house has created since its founding.
